Genshin Impact leaks: New information on Dendro revealed
The elemental reactions of the Dendro element that were revealed through Genshin Impact leaks look quite captivating as players can barely wait to test out the new element. Even though there are some characters in the game that are being suspected to hold the Dendro vision, Travelers can’t use the characters as of now.
A couple of days ago, a trustworthy source provided several Genshin Impact leaks that revealed how the Dendro element reaction will work against enemies. It also revealed that the upcoming element might not be compatible with some of the existing elements in the game but will provide a substantial amount of damage with other.
The Dendro element doesn’t work with Cryo, Anemo or the Geo element which means players will have to become very selective when they build teams for the Dendro characters. While Collei from Sumeru is expected to be a Dendro character, there is no evidence in the lore that Collei possesses a vision. Dendro can work with the following elements-
- Electro- Intensified reaction provides damage for 7 seconds and drops one Electro particle
- Hydro- Overgrown reaction spreads mushroom like seeds to provide damage
- Pyro- Burning reaction to provide AoE DMG
An interesting fact that cannot be overlooked here is that the Overgrown reaction will affect both the players as well as enemies. When Dendro will react with Hydro, seeds will spawn around that will affect both the enemies and players, as mentioned in the Reddit post. Players can apply Pyro to stop this damage but it is currently unknown whether Pyro will work in Sumeru’s environment.
It is important to note that these Genshin Impact leaks are in development as Sumeru release is still few months away. The developers might change the Dendro elemental reactions, therefore, players should wait for more accurate information.
