Capital City Market will be kicking off the season with a new footprint
BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — The Capital City Public Market season will begin Saturday, April 14 in downtown Boise with a new look.
Idaho Street will host vendor tents this year.
Over 100 vendors will be selling Idaho agriculture, specialty foods and artisan goods with the new footprint on Idaho Street from Capitol Blvd to 9th Street.
The Market will take place every Saturday 9:30-1:30 April-December.
Last year approximately 15,000 shoppers browsed the offerings of vendors.
The Capital City Public Market is more than just a local foods and fresh produce market. We believe in growing a sustainable local food system and thriving local economy through the exchange of goods, services and information between farmers, specialty food producers, artisans and the public, whether our patrons are locals or out-of-town visitors.
The Market generates millions of dollars for the local economy and helps independent, seasonal micro-businesses grow and develop their client base. We help these local business owners by providing technical help, free weekly advertising, merchandising training and marketing assistance.
