BSU basketball pick up 2nd win in a row against Colorado
BOISE, Idaho — After picking up a big win against NCAA Tournament regular Loyola-Chicago on Friday, BSU continued their winning ways in a 68-55 win over the Colorado Buffalos.
BSU jumped out to a 19-11 lead ten minutes into the game and never looked back. Leading 41-33 at half, the Broncos continued to dominate the defensive side in the second half. BSU limited the Buffalos throughout the game, forcing Colorado to shoot 26.7% from the field and 10% from the three-point line in the half. The Broncos were stout on the defensive end all game, limiting the Buffalos to 20% from the three-point line.
Fifth-year senior guard Marcus Shaver Jr. lead the Broncos in points scoring 20 on 6-18 shooting. Shaver also secured 10 rebounds and two assists in the game. Sophomore forward Tyson Degenhart added 14 points in the game.
The Broncos' next matchup comes on Saturday, November 26th against Utah Valley at ExtraMile Arena. Tip-off on Saturday is at 2:00 p.m.
