Boise police arrest three teens after late night shooting

Boise Police have arrested three Boise teens in connection to a shooting that damaged two vehicles and a house early Friday morning.

According to Bosie Police, the shooting happened just after midnight on May 24, in the area of West Timathy Lane and North Shamrock Avenue.

Responding officers found two vehicles and a house that had been hit by gunfire on West Florence Lane but did not find that anyone in the area was injured by the gunfire.

After an initial investigation officers located the vehicle suspected of being used in the shooting in a parking lot on Fairview and Five Mile.

Officers arrested the three occupants, 18-year-old Sammuel Silva of Boise for felony Accessory, Felony Destruction of evidence, and a misdemeanor driving under the influence, 19-year-old Irvin Rodriquez Soriano of Boise for felony Grand theft, felony unlawful discharge at a house, Enhanced use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and a citation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Officers also a 16-year-old juvenile for accessory to a felony and a citation for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Officers continued their investigation finding a stolen firearm in the vehicle and an extended magazine with ammunition on Rodriquez Soriano's person. Officers also found that the bullets found at the home matched those that were in Rodriquez Soriano's possession.

Officers found evidence that Silva had disposed of the spent shell casings in a trash can and that the 16-year-old had been driving during the shooting.

Officers also conducted a field sobriety test on all three and found that they were all under the influence of alcohol.

Silva and Rodriquez Soriano were booked into the Ada County Jail and the 16-year-old was booked into juvenile detention.
