Warren said to WGN News, via Ryan Taylor of NBC Sports Chicago:

I’m a supporter of Justin because I got a chance to work with him when I was Commissioner of the Big Ten conference. He is incredibly talented. He is smart. He works hard. And he wants to be a great NFL football player. And now he just needs to make sure he has the support around him. He’s working hard. I would love to see him this offseason and make sure he’s totally healthy going into the season next year.

Justin Fields did not have a great season with the Chicago Bears. The team finished last in the NFC North Division with 7 wins and 10 losses. Fields had a lot of concerns. He failed to give the team momentum and also had injury concerns. The trade rumors started hitting the scenario during the season and it strengthened after the season.

Kevin Warren praised Justin Fields with all his heart

In the interview, Warren explicitly praised the abilities of the quarterback. He seemed a fan of how the quarterback manages the game. The President did not hide his admiration for Fields.

Warren said:

Justin has a rare combination of intelligence, of size, of strength and speed. You forget how big of a man he is until you’re up on him. He’s not a small man. I just think every year he’s going to continually get better. . . . I’m glad he’s [Fields] on the Chicago Bears.

This is not the first time the quarterback received support from a person on the team. Prior to the president, he also received the backing of the tight end (TE) Cole Kmet. Despite all these support, the quarterback unfollowed the Bears on Instagram. It is to be seen whether anything changes after the president extended his support.
